This unique table started life as a handmade barn loft door with a window. The barn is located in Marshfield, MA and was a buggy factory at one point in it’s history. The current owners are in the process of remodeling the barn to include a pottery studio and a gathering space. They wanted to preserve some of the barn’s history by transforming a pair of loft doors into pub tables. The window in this table is a panel made out of pieces of mappa burl floating in a sea of blue and blue-green epoxy. The door itself was reinforced and encased in matte black epoxy. The table legs and rails are made out of 2 and 1 1/2 inch diameter black iron pipe.
